SAT scores - WHAT???

If you are an international student and you want your SAT scores to be sent to 9 schools, do you have to pay for 12? I remember someone told me intels had to pay for 4 colleges even if they send scores only to 1, 2, or 3. Is it true? I know it sounds crazy but I can expect anything from the evil collegeboard people.

nah... i dont' think so. just yesterday i sent two reports to two colleges separately and i got two separate $9 order confirmations in my inbox.

or did i read u wrong?

that's exactly what I wanted to know:) THANX!!!

No, no, no! Oh, my, you gave me a shock with your question! I was thinkin' evilness.

I did the same as aaron. Sent 4 reports, then realized I needed to send 3 more or so. Got two separate messages in inbox about the 7 I sent to.

But they do charge extra for international processing fee. Isn't that just wretched??? It's not our fault, buddy-boy CollegeBoard!

what fee? Why the **** am I surprised?! That's CB we're talking about after all  :( I feel so helpless

When you initially register for the SAT I or SAT II. They charge a little extra for internationals...

Yeah...probably to cover the cost of shipping the books and CD's (for listening tests) and stuff like that...

Oh, yeah, I already paid that international processing fee. But I still can't understand what they do with my $63! Not to mention the $140 for TOEFL!

TOEFL... hissing ETS just loves making money!!

toefl is damn expensive and useless

Exactly! Useless. You could ace it and still, the universities would look at your SAT CR (and possibly Writing) scores to see if you can handle English. Not the TOEFL!
