<p>Does Emory count the SAT writing score?</p>
<p>IIRC from the info session that D and I attended, Emory does NOT take the writing score into consideration.</p>
<p>^^^ doesn’t hurt to have a 700+ on the writing section though. if its in the low-mid 600s may raise some red flags</p>

<p>I wrote one of the best essays in my school when I scored a damn 550 some time ago.</p>
<p>Except that now I went upto 720, but that’s after hours of completely USESLESS practice on how to take this test.</p>
<p>Am I a better writer now that I have 720? NO!! </p>
