SAT scores

Here are my SAT and SAT II scores:

SAT I:
670M/700V/720W
660M/710V/730W
Meaning my highest cumulative score is 2110.

SAT II:
U.S. History- 720
Literature- 650

I have a very high GPA, good class standing, strong extra cirriculars that show a clear passion, unique essay, strong teacher recs. I am applying early decision.

Should I re-take the Lit. in November and rush the scores to Brown? Could that 650 lead to me not getting accepted?

depends in what you want to concentrate. as far as I know lit isn't that easy, plus being simillar to the verbal/CR section of the sat I think you got it covered. haven't you thought though about taking math 1c or 2c for the sat2? just a thought.

I took the SAT in October and sent scores to Brown, but my application status still says they don't have my scores on record. Does anybody else have the same situation?

yea i rushed oct scores and it says they havent gotten them.

I didn't rush them. I read somewhere that they didn't need to be rushed. Anyone else not rush them?

I didn't rush them. I hate the College Board. Those scores should have been there by last week. If it were up to me, those scores should have been there immediately after the tests were scored. Why the hell does it take them so long to get anything done?

i didn't rush.....but i do agree. college board sucks/is inefficient.

very ineficient. still, on saturday when I also saw my score report on my CB account it said scores sent to colleges. still don't have an ID from Brown(sent all my app only Friday :( ) to check my status there.

You won't get it for a few more days. It took a while for mine to arrive.

Actually, Brown updated the application status site, and it now says complete for me. The scores hath arriveth!

i called the collegeboard when the website said that none have my colleges had recieved my scores. turns out they all recieved my scores, but the site hadnt updated it. so 6570882 i would call just to make sure, but i think there's just a problem with their site.

No, they got them. I called CB yesterday and got very fed up with the guy. He couldn't find me (by SSN, name, address, birth date) on the list of people for at least five minutes. Then after getting very frustrated with him, he told me that he didn't go to college and doesn't know why it would take the USPS 3-5 weeks to deliver a letter. The CB is so hypocritical and unhelpful. The end.

know the feeling. I once called them and I told the guy I was calling from Romania so, when he asked my name he continued not understanding it, then asked me for my SSN(I don't have one!!!!! I'm from Romania!!!!) then it took him very much till he found me! I was so mad( calling in the US wasn't the cheepest thig ever you know! :p )... then he repeated telling me :"calm down, mam! just calm down! " . in the end I just didn't know if to laugh or to cry. :D
still, I will never in my life call them(hopefully :) )
