<p>I am extremely worried about whether or not I will be accepted to Hunter College. My currently updated SAT score sums up to 970 with CR and Math. The deadline for applications are due February 1st, but I just signed up for Jan.26 SAT and I was wondering if they will accept my future SAT score after I take the Jan.26 SAT.</p>

<p>I have a 3.5 GPA along with AP Bio, AP World , AP American and AP Chem classes taken already. I attend after school program such as Downstate Health Science Academy. Furthermore, volunteered at a retirement home for one summer. I have participated in many science fair competitions such as American Chemical Society, Act-So ( Achieved 3rd place), New York City Science and Engineering Fair. </p>

<p>On the side note I would like to know what are my chances getting into Hunter with 970 CR and Math score if they do not accept my Jan.26 2012 SAT score.</p>

<p>It will be extremely difficult for you to get in with a 970 because Hunter is a really competitive CUNY /: Hunter wants at least a 1200 combined CR and Math score or an ACT comp of at least 26. As for the Feb deadline, they will still accept your app and stuff, but I think it will be considered only after they look over the apps that came before the deadline and then you will be accepted only if there are still seats available.
Don’t give up hope though. I really want to go to Brooklyn College and my SAT CR and Math score combined is a 990 and I need at least a 1000 -__- I’m taking the ACT instead.</p>

<p>Hunter’s average SAT score is 1220 though. I won’t! Thanks for the advice! Well I’m sure Brooklyn College will take you into consideration because you aren’t far away from 1k</p>
