So I'm trying to gauge the average CC student's SAT score...
If you want, share your score here, I guess? :)

Mine is below national average lol.

In my defense, I was a freshman and didn’t study.

1970 composite
580 math
690 critical reading
700 writing

Predicted based on junior year PSAT scores:

2270 composite
730 math
770 critical reading
770 writing

2040 and proud.

7 10char10char

Well my is 1640:
540 in all three section

2340 (740 r 800 m 800 w)

You really think it’s necessary to defend a 1970… Oh my god… What is this world coming to?

Word to the wise: Getting below 2000 doesn’t make you an idiot. Getting below 2400 doesn’t make you an idiot. Getting above average makes you just that: above average. Average is around 1500.

Anyway, my superscore is 1820. (CR: 610, M: 560, W: 650) The only problem I have with that is it’s unlikely for me to get merit scholarships at the type of school I like. Other than that, I’m proud of it. It’s hard to get a better score where I go to school, so all that matters is that I did the best I could in light of my circumstances.

^ Agreed.

Please just go somewhere… You aren’t pleasing anyone here by getting top scores, nor are you going to get sympathy/hatred from anyone just because you were a freshmen with a score of 1970.

2300 superscore (800CR, 740M, 760W)

“You really think it’s necessary to defend a 1970… Oh my god… What is this world coming to?”

In general, no. On this website, yes.

2210 superscore. Weirdly, both times I took the SAT I got the same composite score. :P

2160 (650 cr 740 m 770 w)

I have a friend who received 2370 and acts like it’s nothing (literally).

2200 (680 CR [i couldn’t believe this one], 750 M, 770 W with a 10 essay)

1940 twice. Superscored to a 2020.
590-730-620, 650-650-640

It’s meh. I don’t like tests. I’m pretty glad I got that high in Reading considering my reading issues. And the only reason my Writing score is that “low” is because I refuse to compromise my writing style.

2180 (730 CR, 670 M, 780 W)
It was my first time taking the SAT.

1990 (660 CR, 750 M, 580 W) in one sitting… how do I English good?

It seems like a lot of people have math scores higher than the critical reading/writing scores. It always surprises me because math is my favorite subject and I still do worse on math than the others. I think there are fewer questions and so getting one question wrong lowers your score more.

It weird for me to cause the last time I took the SAT, I got a,lower score on math yet on other tests I score extremely higher on the math portion. I feel like it should’ve been like 600 but I guess it’s too late now.
