SAT scores?

Hey I was just wondering, Has georgetown every admitted a student with lower that average SAT scores that was not a recruited athlete? I talking about a 1250 SAT score for Math and Critical reading.

Its definitely not likely for a student of those scores to be admitted. It would be best to shoot for at least a 1350 if youre not a recruited athlete. However, if all other aspects of your app are stellar i.e. great GPA, ECs, recommendations, etc, it may be worth a shot.

However, if you don’t have these and are absolutely dedicated to GU you can try taking the SAT again or give the ACT a shot if you haven’t already.

In general, from what I’ve seen, if you want a solid shot at georgetown, a 1450+ SAT and a 31-32+ ACT will put you in a comfortable range among other applicants.

Hope this helps

Yeah oh well to bad i am a senior and i would be able to bring my scores up. My application otherwise is stellar and I am a URM. (hopefully this counts for something). However my friend got in last year with a 1770…i hope i have her luck

I was deferred EA and am anxiously waiting for RD to come out( I am hoping around the 27-28th). I have SAT 2330 ACT 33 and great recs and EC’s but still got deferred so I’m not sure what to expect.
