To all of the applicants and future- SAT SCORES ARE JUST A FACTOR. Yes they are very important but they are not the one and only factor. A lot of the people asking if thier score is high enough and will they get in are not evaluating all thier credentials. I see high scores and weakness in the other areas and visa versa.

^^^^^ This statement has originally been made by Smartmind on UPenn's forum :)

i have never read that thread statement before. i was thinking of all of the people on the cornell thread who keep posting sat scores and will i get in threads.

Good work abike :) I agree with u...and sorry...that statement is ur original, though the thought is repetitive but very TRUE :)

ronty007 i have a grudge against you forever lol- anyways yah i know its repetitive-people will keep busting thier balls over sats scores. i just want them to know they have other qualities that they can bust thier balls over also lol. i know i freaked out about my scores and the whole process. thank God of early decision because i couldn't take waiting until april.

Where did u get in?
And yeah, I m sorry if my posts were in any sense rude... If u r free and have a flair for writing then do PM me ;)

will people please read this post it will really help u. stop focusing on one factor-sat or gpa etc.

I made a similar thread after the ED decisions and it caused a huge uproar. People were freaking out and saying that I was wrong...I certainly agree with you, but it does make people feel better to know their chances based on numbers, even though it doesn't mean much.

yah i know i was one of those ED freaking out about my scores also eventough i knew it was one factor
