Say I don't break 1400....am I screwed (cr/m only)

if not 1400 (cr/m), it is getting tougher

not much of a chance, 1400 is like the minimum u should get for med programs...otherwise they usu wont give u an interview unless everything else you've done is unbelievably amazing....

I'm in the same situation as Aspen D. Can anyone give me some pointers for quick cramming or quick studying...I've been doing practice tests and the scores have been all over the place.

hey im in a similar situation.
to Aspen D and md4me:
just try your hardest and study your best. get ur vocab down. go thru practice cr and math sections. sit thru timed tests to enhance ur stamina. just do what you feel would help you best since each person has his or her own way of taking in information.
plus, it all comes down to this: yeah sure ur sat score may not be the best, but u could still shine thru essays and ecs and the interview. i know some study-crazy people who are not personable at all theyre so bookish and boring; you have to have a rockin, confident personality to get far in life. thats just the way it is.
sory im rambling.
best of luck to both of you

well on prac tests i always get really high scores and screw up on test day.....

sup with that anyway?! hahaha

Aspen and md4me, are you applying to UMKC with me?

UMKC you guys should be okay for an interview atleast....

i'm applyin to UMKC and i'm anticipating about a 1410/1600 SAT and maybe like 2050/2400 SAT. With that SAT and a good amount of extracirriculars, how would i do for UMKC?

For most programs, you won't even be considered.

except for UMKC, where you would be considered, but nothin is guaranteed with those scores.

just a realted question bcuz I too have similar SAT scores:

do most of the schools (the programs) look at your scores for a cut-off or do they look at the whole app b4 tossing yours out?

im sure they use it as a cut off for the PSU, RPI, miami, and others that say it requires certain score.

well soem saythey require like 1350 min or somethng.......but if you've met that already...can they toss you out without a full reading?

well...yeah it depends on the school...like i know for miami, rutgers, psu, and boston, you won't even be considered if you have a sub-1400....you could try drexel, i think they're a bit more lenient.
