<p>Are these SAT Scores too low for Carleton?</p>

<p>yah....almost everyone applies for aid...i am no exception as i can't afford.</p>
<p>however, i would like to add that my transcript is strong, and my ecs are really strong..</p>
<p>Is English your first language? If not, the reading score is exceptional. If yes, it's not low enough to raise serious alarm bells, especially in light of your other solid scores. </p>
<p>I don't think statistics get anyone into Carleton. And above a certain range, I don't think they automatically keep anyone out. So if you have great ECs and grades and such, you're still a very viable candidate.</p>

<p>English is not my first language, and I am so much wanting to improve that 620 on the CR. This was scored in my only sitting for the SAT, and I have been trying to get a date for the examination, but then it's really hard - the seats have already been filled here. aniways, anyone of you heard of Cambridge A Levels Thinking Skills? It's pretty similar to SAT and it comprises of the Critical Thinking, and Math Section, but in comparision to the SAT it isn't such a long test and tests smaller passages, and we are asked to respond in essays. There's the MCQ section which is quite similar to the SAT as well. Since i was able to get an A in this subject, will I be able to get this thing across to the admin officers at Carleton, if I write this in the additional information section of the application??</p>
<p>Carleton does not give good aid to internationals.
Their average aid package for international students is like $26000......and the total cost of Carleton is more than $40000.....soo.....

<p>but carleton has this starr scholarship for international studentss..it was because of this that i am applying to carleton...this scholarship covers the full costs..</p>
