SAT scores

Hi, My D who is a junior took the January SAT and scored 2280 (CR 700, M 780, W 800) . she took SAT again in March to improve CR score. Her March SAT scores are: CR 760, M 740, W760. Although she did impove on CR, her other scores went down (from2280 to 2250). Is this a negative thing in the college admission process? How do the Ivys and other top schools look at these scores? Any input is appreciated.

No, it won't hurt her. There are two reasons: many schools superscore (take the best CR, maths, and writing and combine them for the highest score possible). However, even schools that don't superscore will only consider her 2280. Also, most schools don't yet consider the writing section.
