I know for Ivys and Tier one schools they say 2100+ is the safest SAT Score to have.
My highest superscore is a 1910. Will that hurt me in admissions at Brown?

Who is they?

Your SAT scores will not result in an automatic denial. However, Brown does like to see its applicants score 700+ on each section, because that demonstrates to them that you have the math and reading skills needed to succeed at Brown. If you bring something else to the table that they really want, then your SAT scores will not hurt you.

i have a question

on my first SAT i got

710
740
740

on the second SAT that i just took in october i got

760
700
780

i know that brown allows score choices option so should i send one or the other or both?
My math score seriously sucks for my second test but its better for the first one
also, how does Brown’s superscore work?

Do they take the highest from each test?
so should i send both?
or if they don’t superscore should i not send because i got a decrease in my math score?

dam sorry i was going to start my own topic…
ignore above post…
i think 1910 will definitely hurt your chances…but it all depends on the rest of your application
if you are super good at something that other people aren’t good at you could still get in

I mean, my grades arent terrible, its just I am horrible at Standardized testing that tests thinking on the lower levels of Blooms Taxonomy…
I think I will try the ACT, and then submit all of my scores, and let Brown make a decision.

Pat Pat…
We are almost the same…
I got a superscore 2020…I am really worried about that…

It really hurts to some extent, but they will not judge a person only by his score. You still have a lot of ways to show your abilities…
So, it’s not time for worrying, instead, you should think about the way how to polish the rest of your applications.
Unless you have submitted…

BTW: could Brown ED applicants apply to Early Response and Priorities ?? Since they are not ED program or EA program…

That is precisely what I am doing.
