SAT scores?

On the Barnard website, it says “When evaluating applications, we always look at the highest combination of scores ONLY.” ([Barnard College Admissions](http://barnard.edu/admiss/applying/faq.html#New_SAT)) Does this mean that if you took the SAT multiple times, they take the highest Math/Writing/CR scores from all the tests you’ve taken and add them up to determine your total score (aka “superscoring”)?

I am asking because I got 2260 on the October test (M:710, W:790, CR:760) and 2250 on the January test (M:800, W:700, CR:750). As you can see my overall score went down, my math score went up 90 points, and my writing score went down 90 points… I was rather discouraged by this T__T.

Yes, they do “superscore” from what I understand.

Soshi, they do superscore, but both of your sets are on the high end for Barnard, so I don’t think you should worry. Either way, your scores are good enough – the admissions decision will be made based on the rest your package.
