SAT Scores

I'm applying for EA. Which is Nov. 1. But the SATs are like in Nov.6. Can I still send the november scores??

Also, how high should MathII scores be for UChicago?

Their website states they accept Nov & earlier SAT/SATII’s for early action.

Likewise, Math2 is a very heavily scaled subject test. I don’t really get why you should get below an 800 when a ~43/50 is an 800.

PS: Keep in mind uChicago does not require any subject tests.

Well sometimes the scalings are different, so you might need 6 wrong to get an 800.

You don’t need to send it in, but isn’t there an October test date?

Yeah, but i might use Oct for SATI

This was a bit unnecessary.

Chicago doesn’t really care that much about SAT II scores. And there’s also no point in asking how high your score should be, since having that knowledge won’t help your performance.

@JBVirtuoso has a point. If you want to send in SAT II scores, you can take the Nov. test, but don’t obsess overly about taking them unless you know you’re going to do exceptionally well.

Sorry. Wasn’t really intending to be as harsh as that sounds >.> Just remember uChicago doesn’t require any subject tests, and that MathII is a highly scaled SAT, so the OP should do well =]

And yeah. If you’re not comfortable with your SATI, take it again in Oct and SATII in Nov. Or just take the SATII whenever you please - but keep in mind many schools do not accept November test dates for EA/ED (even though Chicago does).

Thanks guys! I think I’m going to keep my 770 and retake the SATI. I know I should really get a 790 or 800 but I really need to improve SATI.
