Would a 650 on SATI math hurt me a lot? :S

It depends on your major, as well as many other factors.
Assume that you have other parts of the application perfect, and you major in some Social Science, then you're totally fine.
Actually,650 on SAT1 Math is not that low at all.

if you're applying in engineering, it is kind of low. the 25 percentile for engineering is probably700.

if you are not engineering or science, it is adecent score but not great.
i know english majors with 700+ on math.

Your grades are far more important than the SAT I score, amongst other things. If you are an all around strong applicant, a 660 won't do much against you. I got in with a 660.

DRab is very correct. Adcoms would much rather see that you do well in school than in a standardized test. And 650 is not bad at all! If you have a strong GPA, maybe a stronger showing in your SATIIs, and ECs, you'll be fine.

DRab, what were your stats when you got admitted to UCB?

SAT II's are valued more highly in the formula than the SAT I score.

Hey guys, sorry to hijack this thread. But my SAT I writing is quite bad. (W:600, CR:730, M:780) How are my chances? I have yet to take the SAT II. Will do that soon. Should I retake my SAT I?
