SAT self-report for the common app?

So my friend said that she's gonna leave it black and only report her AP tests because she doesn't want her schools to see that she took it more than once. I've taken it three times, and for some schools my December scores are the only ones they'll receive.

Should I leave it blank too? I've no idea if my school puts the scores on my transcript and I know the "# of times you've taken the SAT" is pretty clear in what it's asking.

Kinda undermines score choice doesn't it ._.

I was wondering the same thing.

Colleges know that students take the test multiple times and often use Score Choice to report only some of the scores, so honestly noting the number of times you took the test probably won’t tell them anything they don’t already know (especially since no one takes the SAT for the first time in December of their senior year). Also, schools say that they consider only your highest scores even if you furnish all scores, so using Score Choice rather than sending all your scores probably doesn’t matter anyway.

It is up to you to self report any score.

There is an asterisk by that item, so you may not be able to submit the Comm App if you leave it blank.

You guys don’t think that reporting I took the SAT 3 times with little improvement will hurt me? I can’t help feeling slightly embarrassed. :’)

alrighty then I’ll submit today :)
