SAT Sent Scores Still Pending!

I requested for my SAT scores to be sent on October 13th and according to the website, this request is still pending... Will they be sent before November 1st?

I would call collegeboard. they will be able to give you the correct answer

Okay. Thanks! :)

Does anyone know what number I should call to do this?
The scores are still pending…

College Board does this to get people to pay extra for rush delivery. Seems like a scam to me. After all, how hard is it to press “send”?

Is this a common problem? My scores are also “pending”

I’m pretty sure testing companies just like to make extra money, yeah.

Its just like how the AP exams let you get your score over the phone for 10 dollars, even though the process is entirely automated.

Any guesses on when they’ll be sent out?

Hopefully soon. My guidance counselors said orders should be placed a few weeks in advance as it takes a while for them to be sent.

I’m hoping they are going to send all of them tomorrow.

Mine are still pending as well… I thought they would be sent out within a week or two as I need them for early decision

@plann3r, I need them for early action. I hope the colleges I apply to won’t penalize me if they are sent in a few days late… It’s not really our faults right?

I think they might send them all on October 31st or November 1st.

Check out the posts over on the “B” students thread…apparently college board is swamped with requests for Nov 1st ED/EA deadlines and is in a backlog…

hopefully they will send out some sort of press release so the colleges are aware of this (but don’t count on it)

I did not read the thread, but why are they swamped? It is presumably all automated. Some programmers wrote a program taking the info from the ordering system and query the database for the info and put all the scores in a file for each school and send it electronically. Right? And they have been doing this like, forever, I think.

^^no idea; just the messenger

Sorry, it was rhetorical question and might have been a little rash but it was in no way pointing at you.

I think collegeboard has a reputation for being slow with sending scores…

If you look at other posts, some believe this may be to coerce students into rushing their orders and so, paying more money.

I dont think they’re going to make it by November 1st.

@danksta,
Do you think it will reflect poorly on me if they don’t?

I hope not, as I am in the same situation as you. For most of the schools though including common app we have listed our Standardized testing scores, so I would hope they can initially use the self reported scores until college board comes through.

We sent the scores on 10/20 and it is still pending. I called CB, asked them can I change the order to Rush. They said the transaction is being processed, so I cannot do it. I then called the college, I was told it is ok for the score to arrive later then Nov 1.
