SAT Should I retake?

I was wondering if there would really be a point in me retaking the SAT.
I have already applied early decision (probably <5% chance of admittance) and I'm looking at other schools at the moment.
So far I've done two sittings.

1st: 2080 (CR 680 WR 660 MT 740)

2nd: 2190 (CT 740 WR 650 MT 800)

Combined 2200 (CR 740 WR 650 MT 800)

I think I can further improve my writing section, but at most it would be around 50 points. Would it really be worth it?

I don't think you should give it again, 2200 is a good score and giving you more than 2 times may harm you. If you can get above 2200 in this sitting, then you should give it again. Best of luck.

If you can only improve your writing ~50 points, I don't think it's worth it. Think of all the studying and all the time you'll have to spend (especially for the test itself..goodness..4-5 hours). For me, I got a 2160 second testing which is fine for me -- although I know I could do better with some hardcore studying, I really don't think it's worth it.

seeing how you havent changed much in your two sittings, the chances that you will see a drastic increase in W isnt very likely

Most schools don't pay that much attention to the writing score yet anyway. I wouldn't retake.
