I'm planning on applying to Rice University under the Hispanic Studies major this coming fall. I'm trying to decide if I should take the Spanish with Listening or without. I know that with listening will be a much more accurate representation of my knowledge, but the test is only offered in November (very frustrating)! My question is: Should I take it without listening in May, or with listening in November and miss my chance to apply early decision to Rice?

I would take both and make a note of it on the application.
