Is it me, or has anybody else taken 6 years of spanish (all honors spanish in high school), taken a spanish practice test and done poorly? I'm confused, they said at our school we wouldn't be able to get above a 600, but still, it's not stopping me. How can one improve his or her score on the spanish tesT (i.e. vocabulary or etc.?)

i agree with you, i thought because i was good at spainsh that that would be good, but no i think i did horrible

id uont know. I had a different experience. Ive taken spanish for about 5 or 6 years and somehow am fairly fluent so it seemed really easy to me. The hardest part was vocabulary though. I would say the best way to improve is read a lot of modern spanish stuff. Go to El Comercio (the big newspaper) online and read a few articles with a dictionary. And also do a lot of practice in the books. The same material is reused in questions a lot.
