This is my first time taking the test standby. How do I choose which test center to go to? Do I just show up? It seems too strange/unplanned.

Me too, I’m pretty confused as well. I don’t know how to link up my registration form (the one on paper) to my collegeboard account (because apparently, that sometimes doesn’t happen automatically). And some people get their scores at the normal time and some get theirs waaay later. I’m an international student, so I’m freaking out!

i havent even gotten my paper registration form yet! you have to link it to an account online? im so confused.

What I did was I called pretty much all the test centers near my house which I thought were less popular. I asked them if they thought they’d be able to fit a standby in, and the test coordinator at one school was very affirmative. I got there about 45 minutes before everyone else, introduced myself as soon as they opened the doors, and easily got in. I’m sorry I can’t help you with the form question – I don’t remember having that problem. But basically it was very smooth for me, try not to worry!
