SAT Study Plan

Hi, I recently finished my sophomore year. Half way through that year, I decided I would take the SAT so I enrolled in a Math SAT Tutoring Classroom (not online; physical) and through that and minimal preparation due to being a massive procrastinator, I managed to pull off a 1790 (630 M, 620 W 8 ESSAY, 540 CR). This was my first try and won’t be counted by the time I graduate anyway so I’m perfectly ok with that given that I had literally no practice (all I did was read/watch tips and tricks when I got bored)

Now, I’m going to be taking the October SAT (with essay) and I still have done no practice. I have various books such as Princetons Cracking the SAT & The Official SAT Study Guide by Collegeboard. I’m beginning to read through them but still cannot find it in myself to do extensive practice. I’m aiming for a 2000+ score, and I really don’t know how I can do that. I’d have to improve at least 220 points. There is a website called PrepScholar that “guarantees” a 235 point increase or something, but it’s costly at $400.

Can someone arrange a proper schedule from me starting from now to October, or at the very least give me recommendations on what I should be doing. Does that PrepScholar thing really work?

Thanks a lot!

TL;DR: I have 78 days 10 hours 5 minutes and 2 seconds to raise my score up by 220 points. (1790 to 2010)

HOW? D:

After reading most of PrepScholars website, I am seriously convinced and taking it into major consideration

Anyone used PrepScholar before?

I am using prepscholar right now for the ACT and it really tailors to your specific needs. I haven’t taken my official ACT so I can’t vouch for the score increase, but I am definitely learning. I really hope it was worth the money! Good luck!

@OneDoubleThree , if you do not have it within yourself to study on your own, and you’re bad at self-motivating, try PrepScholar… But, if you REALLY want a good score (and the satisfaction of doing it all on your own), then try to study on your own. If you want to begin the noble cause of self-study, read these guides in this thread (or the ones that pertain to areas you want to improve). http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/sat-preparation/763933-everyone-read-this-before-posting-best-of-sat-prep-forum-and-faqs-p1.html

well, thank you.

I am using prepscholar as we speak and it’s great thus far (5/6 done with the diagnostic)

but i’m hella bored

I just wanna do something else, yknow that feel?
