SAT Subject - easy ones to take?

Hi,

I am planning to write SAT IIs this Jan. for my admission this year. I think Physics is too much for me to cram for, especially as a Canadian student.

What do you suggest for relatively easy to study subject tests?

Please help

Steven

lol... if your canadian take french.... j/k. but i dont know what being canadian has to do with anything. take math 2c because it uses the universal language of numbers. plus it has a really good curve.

Take what you're good at & have been learning. What are you thinking of/planning on majoring in? If math/science, it might be useful to take Math II (or if you haven't completed precalc Math I) & a science you like & are good at & can review (bio or chem). English comp is OK if you're pretty decent at it (check out a review book & try a practice test).

I would think that Biology is pretty easy to self-study.

Literature - you don't study for it.

definitely math IIc, and perhaps a foreign language if you feel you are fluent

otherwise chem is pretty straightforward if you've had at least a basic chem class and can study a little on your own...

So

Math IIc sounds popular
Literature doesn't require studying

Chem and Bio can be self taught...

How's physics?

I want to score 750. How much studing do you think is required from now till January?

You're so lucky. English is your mother tongue so you can get >750 at Literature without studying. And I think you should take Physics or Chem too. Most students who want to study abroad my country take Physics, Chem and Maths and they always get 800/800. I did some practice tests and realized that these 3 subjects are quite easy. The only problem we often face is English words... You can study as much as possible from now... Using some books from the College Board or Barron's will help. I suggest that you should use Kaplan books for the 1st time 'cause Kaplan's are easier than the real tests, then, try some tests from Barron's (more difficult).
