<p>Hey guys, I have been scouring the internet trying to see if a 740 on US history is a good score for the SAT subject test. I'm a sophomore and will probably be applying ivy and stanford when the time comes. Should I retake and spend less time studying for finals or keep and focus on finals?

<p>740 is decent. Not bad, not awesome. However, it is only the SAT subject tests, and there are a ton of other things schools consider (the actual SAT/ACT, extracurriculars, essay). I suppose you could retake it if you have the time, like in the fall and you could study for it a little in the summer. For right now, focus on finals</p>
