SAT Subject score

Hi. I got 760 in physics and 740 in math 2. Should I retake the subject test if I wanna go to Stanford/MIT/Ivy?

That 740 in Math 2 is at the 59th percentile. The 760 in Physics is at 75th. I would take these again if applying to highly selective schools.

I completely disagree. The percentiles for most Subject Tests are depressed because few schools require/request them. The ones that do are generally the elite ones with low admissions rates anyway. As a result, the students who sit for these exams are very self selecting. No AO is going to be sitting on the floor crossreferencing scores vs. percentiles IMO.

Move on. Spend the time on polishing your essays; those will help you more than a few extra points.

I’ve read that Ivy League schools, such as Princeton, require 730+ on SAT Subject.

No school publishes “requirements” for SAT subject tests. Any score above 700 is generally good. Don’t worry about the percentiles.
