A lot of the colleges I’m looking at require or recommend sat subject scores. I’m from the midwest, so there’s act test center everywhere, but the nearest sat center is 2.5 hours away. Is there anyway I can get around the subject tests? or do I just take it anyways?
First look carefully at the standardized test requirements directly on your colleges’ admission websites. Don’t take the word of online lists, as they are often out of date.
Are you looking directly on the College Board website for test centers? Try a different test date, as not all centers offer testing on all dates.
We are in the midwest and there are multiple SAT centers in our city. Are you sure there aren’t any centers near you?

Unless there is a major financial hardship, you should take the subject tests. Recommend is code for required ; )
