I am applying to some schools that don't require SAT subject test scores, but would consider them if submitted. While Cornell, USC, etc. definitely need them, other schools like UMich at Ann Arbor and University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign would only "consider" them if I choose to submit them. I think that my scores are going to hurt me when it comes time for them to evaluate my application (a few high scores and some lower ones that will hurt me). Should I still submit them (are they just saying that they're optional but still expect to see some scores) or leave them out?
