Hi, I’m a sophomore and I’m enrolled in AP Calc right now and I’m planning on taking the SAT math subject tests this year. I was wondering whether I need to take both subject tests in math or whether just #2 is enough…do colleges care about #1 if you score really well on #2? Advice is much appreciated!
You don’t need to take both, Math 2 is fine
I took both and got a 770 on 1 and an 800 on 2. Math 1 is great to gauge your time. Speed up 6 minutes on Math 2 if you finish Math 1 right on time and you’ll be warmed up and get done in time.
