800 Bio M! Skipped 4, got 1-2 wrong.
Got an 800 Bio M with over 4 wrong lol

Son has got 800 in Bio E. Didn’t skip any and thought atleast 2 were wrong.
670 Bio M 720 Math II not pleased with my scores at all…
Does anyone have a rough estimate of what the curve was like this time (i.e how many you could get wrong and still get an 800).
I skipped 2 knew I got 3ish wrong and got a 790
800 Bio M, I thought I got a lot more than 4 wrong and skipped 2 so… LOL
probably 4 wrong for 800.
I got a 760, should I retake (wanna apply to Harvard)
@tobster18 - 750 or above is enough for Ivies. It comes down to your grades, ECs and most important thing is essay.
So it would make no difference if I retook it and got an 800
It won’t make a big difference unless everything is borderline.
My son skipped 2 and believes he got 2 wrong. 800 on M. From what I am reading on CC threads and elsewhere, most are of the opinion that scores above 750 are sufficient to be competitive at the tippy top schools as it shows ability to master a subject…and I tend to agree. Thus, our plan is not to retake any test with a score of 750 and above.
Happy for all of the great scores above. Our D19 took the Bio M SAT in June after taking Bio H and did not do any extra studying. Guess he should have. Scored a 690. Our friend, who is a college counselor, just told him to take it since he won’t take AP Bio until senior year and then it’s too late. She figured, if he scored a 700+, we could maybe use it at some point. Oh well.
Next time, we will make sure he studies specifically for the test! He’s taking Pre Calc H this year, so Math II is planned for next June. What are the typical SAT IIs that kids take? I assume Math II is a big one. After that, are there some that are more popular than others? Is it best to have a math test, a science test, and then maybe a Lit test? Maybe it just depends on the school and the student’s interests…
Ughhhh I got a 700 after weeks of cramming…I’m probably going to retake in the fall to try and get 750+

I think the curve is that 75 raw score is cutoff for 800
