Hi everyone. I wasn't sure if this topic was posted elsewhere, but I couldn't find one. So my dilemma is this: in my freshman year, I took the Biology - M test and received a 780. I thought that I'd give the Biology - E test a try on the next date, so I took it one month after the Biology - M one. I received a 720. -.- I know that there are many colleges that require students to send all SAT scores for review, such as Stanford, Yale, etc. Does this policy apply to SAT Subject Tests as well or just SAT I tests? Can I just send 2-3 scores that are required and not send the rest? I'd really rather not send my Biology - E, considering that I took it one month after and got a lower score. Thanks for your help guys.

This is a link to all of the CB-College score choice agreements.

Yale, as you can see, requires you send everything. However, most schools consider your highest scores even if you send everything.

If you are not sure whether you need to send SAT subject tests even if you the school doesn’t use score choice (if they do, then you don’t have to send all subject tests or SAT Is) go to their official website and look under standardized testing requirements. Each school may have a different policy.

Don’t worry, a 720 is fine, and the 780 will most likely be considered anyway. That’s a very good score by the way, you should be proud. Also knowing what you know now, make sure you take only the tests that you are confident about scoring well on.

Metrical, that says the score policies for SAT I scores, how about SAT II scores because I have the same problem

Thanks for the quick response! In hindsight, I do realize that it was rather rash of me to take two Biology SAT II’s… but I was a freshman and I was a lot less aware of my abilities that I am now. I am very proud of my 780 now. I guess I was ungrateful back then…

Also, that link is so helpful - thank you!

Haha, of course. Now, I will only take the ones that I prepare for. I was just a little worried that I had a lower score the second time… But you’ve been such a great help!

so, was it a mistake that OP took the Bio-E test, because I am in a similar situation. I took Math I and got a good score, but I dont want to send it to colleges because I will be taking Math II.

Since schools such as Yale and Stanford say that you must send all scores, is it bad if we did poorly on 1 or 2 but did fine on 3 others? Do they look at the top ones or will they look down on these bad scores since they make u send all scores?
