Taking the Literature subject test was the weirdest experience ever. Well it’s because I hate standardized testing and they hate me, but this was relatively easy compared to anything else I’d taken. Strangely I scored a 730 on my first time without outside studying. It’s WAY higher than my Sat I score, which I didn’t do so hot on because of vocabulary and the essay, which I completely booched. Come to think of it, the Lit subject test is completely different from the English section in the Sat I. This is more about digging deep and analyzing classic literature. You can’t really memorize much to prepare for it, besides knowing the terms of literary devices and such. Yep, just thought I’d put in my two cents.
