Are you applying this year?

Take it in December.

I am applying this year …

December ?

I got a 750, and a 5 on AP Lang: Literature SAT wasn’t THAT difficult…it was very similar to AP Lang questions, just with prose…there were also a few random “know this term” (1-2/60)

Aha , I wish my school offered APs…

you can take AP tests w/o taking the classes.
my small private school doesn’t offer any APs either, but I self-studied for Lit and Calculus AB and got a 5 on both.

Really ? I wish I have known this before… I’ve graduated already…

Can I change the test center ? is there any fees ?

anyone please? =/

Yes, you can change the center without any extra cost.

So…would say being able to interpret something like Paradise Lost rather easily probably indicate you’ll score high on this test? Or is it harder materials you’ll have to comprehend?

MIT requires Math II

Ohh, I’ll take math II on jan … And now I’ll start preparing for the october test =]

Changing the center will cost you. ![]()

Owww , okay, I think I’ll stick to my center =

I scored 800s on writing and CR on the SAT I, buuut…I’m kind of scared for the SAT II Lit b/c idk…it just seems a looot harder. Does anyone know if the Kaplan review books are harder/easier/the same as the actual test?
bites nails NOT looking forward to 6/6…

Oh my gosh the date is 6/6! That can’t be good. haha.
I’m not really sure, but I’ve gotten 610, 710, and 650 on Kaplan, and 690 on the real thing. I think they are fairly accurate though, which is why I got it. I think it always varies per test!

Taking the Literature subject test was the weirdest experience ever. Well it’s because I hate standardized testing and they hate me, but this was relatively easy compared to anything else I’d taken. Strangely I scored a 730 on my first time without outside studying. It’s WAY higher than my Sat I score, which I didn’t do so hot on because of vocabulary and the essay, which I completely booched. Come to think of it, the Lit subject test is completely different from the English section in the Sat I. This is more about digging deep and analyzing classic literature. You can’t really memorize much to prepare for it, besides knowing the terms of literary devices and such. Yep, just thought I’d put in my two cents.
