SAT Subject Test January 2009: US History

are any questions from other test dates appear on other test dates or the test is just basically the same. Is that Maxwell Jackson painting always on the test(the one with that sploshy crap). I guessed on that question and put Andy Warhol, also the one with Ralph Nader(what he advocated). Those two questions I didn't have a freeking clue on what to do. I proably guessed about 5 to 6 questions and got a 650

@shurik, at least you can hide it now! just take it again if you need ush sat ii. i got a 3 on my ap (a 3 is like less than 60%) and i got 790. it just shows what studying can do.

@bmsa91, ummm i think that college board wont reuse sat ii questions. but there was a question on last years may ap that was on the jan sat ii. it was an easy question anyways so it didnt really help that i saw it before.
guessing 5 to 6 doesnt usually mean 650. did you skip a lot? i guessed like 5 to 6 too

@xiaohyolee, I can't hide it. I already sent all the scores in order for them to be considered along with my application. I was too sure that I did well...

@ xiaohyolee. I guessed about 5 to 7 questions. Omited 3 questions

I dont know how I got a freeking 650. I know about 96.5 % OF THE content on the test and all.

Shurik. Dude are you a sr sending the US history score to a meet a dealine or something.

@bmsa91, yup. Most colleges I applied to accept the January SAT as the last test date.
I updated the score recepients into the admission ticket before finding out the score... in order for the colleges to receive the score reports in time.

BTW, bmsa91, I am in disbelief of my bad score as well. I know that I omitted like 10-15 questions, but I was sure that I answered correctly the rest of them.

I guessed in about 3-5 questions, omited 2 questions.

I got a 790. I think I omitted 2.

This was my first time taking a SATII , I got a 650 on the US history test. Is that 'bad' of a score or what.

It's a decent score. What kind of colleges are you looking at?

I was looking at U Oregon, UT Austin, TCU,

Does anyone have the REAL US HIS TESTS ( ones tested in the past)? I want to have real practices other than those in CB's book.
Thank you very much ^^
