What are the differences between them? Do universities like UCB or UCLA prefer one? I’m taking AP Calc BC this year and expect a 4 on the AP test. Which do you think is better for me?
Thanks!

Level 2
curve is more forgiving PLUS when you take calc colleges expect you to take the level 2
level 1 means absolutely nothing.
take level 2
Thank you!
Level 2. I got 800 on Math level 2 and the national percentile is around 85% (I forgot the exact number, I am too lazy to log in again).
And aim for a 5 in Calc BC. A lot of students get 5s on AP Calc BC.
I’d have to disagree that Math Level 1 means nothing. I’m an unhooked applicant who scored a 690 on Math Level 1 and just got into Penn. If you plan on majoring in math or engineering, then I definitely think Math Level 2 would be the right decision.
