Sat subject test math 2 question

So I just received my scores for the math 2 test, and I got a 780. I'm happy with it, but here's the deal. I'm a sophomore and I already took the test once earlier in the school year, and I got a 660. Now i took it again and got a 780. All my friends took it their first time and got an 800.

My questions are... does it look bad that I got the 660 before the 780? Are my friends way better because they got the 800 and on the first time? Or is all this just a completion credit that I have completed and am finished with and it doesent matter if i got the 660 the first time?

thanks

It does not matter that you got a 660 the first time.
Your friends aren't better candidates because they got an 800 on their first try.

Your friends probably got a question or two more correct, so they're not way better. 780 is still a good score, and you can choose not to send your 660 to certain colleges after March.
