so far my answers are looking pretty good! the ones that i remember atleast…
for the car one, i got A. i don’t remember what it was…but everything was reduced by 20. it was like 4t-12/3 or something of that sort. or that’s what i got atleast. i skipped 5. and maybe missed ~3 at the most. what do you guys think my score will be? a 760 atleast i hope…

@PotatoMan

I used the solve function because I thought it would be faster than graphing and changing the window, but yeah, I just realized that my calculator explicitly states “Warning: More solutions may exist”…wahhh.

@littlemobilefish Same here! I think they wrote that one to catch us 89’ers
That makes two I know I missed…

omitted 5 and missed 1 to 3 at the most ;(
argh, should i just cancel my score and go for the 800 in june :/

^ i think that’s what happened to me…can that score be atleast a 780?

Nah don’t cancel it, that would be a waste of money. Plus we have score choice…
However, I also think I"m going to retake math and chem in June. I didn’t really study for these two tests, so preparation would most definitely help.
By the way, since everyone says this test was easier, will that make the raw score necessary to get an 800 be like… a 44 or 45?

I omitted 4 and missed maybe 1 or 2. do you think I still have a chance at an 800?

God, people think this test was actually easier?
I did the official practice test and got 760.
I think I’ll be lucky to get 700 on this one.
._.

4 omit and 2 wrong would be a 790, but 4 omit and 1 wrong would be 800.
According to the official practice test.

how many zeroes did the f(x) . g(x) have (they had a # of distinct zeros individually)

^ it was 2,3 or 4 zeros. if you look through the thread, people have confirmed that it was and explained why.

2, 3, or 4, skepticidal.

if i get a 790 i’ll just…slkdfjslkdfjlsdjf haha i got a 790 on sat reasoning math too and those 10 points cost me a perfect score k just gonna cancel and actually study for june rather than cram things in the night before.

@Abrayo looks like I’m living life on the edge.

@SelfIndulgent or Skepticidal… do you guys remember the exact question that was?

did you take another SAT II today? if you cancel one, all get canceled.

unless you have a really strong, visceral feeling that you did terrible, then you should cancel but otherwise, i think you should just keep it. and i honestly don’t think there’s a huge difference in a 790 and 800. it won’t break or make you.

just my two cents. i was debating on cancelling and this is what somebody told me.

hey guys, if i got 4 omit and 3 wrong is there ANY prospect of an 800? like if the curve were big or something

I say don’t cancel. Theres always score choice and the chance that you did better than you think, the waste of money, and all that work you put in this morning are all strong motivators that you shouldn’t cancel.

I misinterpreted that question and thought that if there was at least one f(x) =/= g(x) that they couldn’t overlap and thus 2 would be impossible. So I put 3 and 4. Damn.

“right triangle with sides 1, x, and y and asked you do calculate the angle”

Does everyone agree that its sec? D:
I put 1 - tan T__T

LovingNewYork: yeah, it’s sec.

blackholedroid: well i know i omitted 5 & missed 1 forsure. since people are saying it was an easier test this time then that’s probably already sub-800, even if i didn’t make any other mistakes and money-wise, i’d rather spend the ~$30 and retake and get an 800 xP then again, i could do horribly next month too. sigh.
