SAT Subject Test Reporting

Hey,

I was just wondering how we report Subject Tests.
Are we allowed to report them individually, irrespective of the test day? Or do we have to submit all the ones we did on a test day?

Thx,
MoonWebber

MoonWebber,

You can choose which Subject test scores to report by individual Subject test, regardless of the test date on which you took the tests. So, for example, if you took Math 1 & 2 in May, and then took Chemistry and Physics in June, you could choose to send just Math 1 from May and just Physics from June.

This is different from just the SAT, where you can only choose scores by date.

Here’s the text from the website collegeboard.com:

Q: Is Score Choice available for both SAT and SAT Subject Tests score reports?
A: Yes. You can select which scores you send to colleges by test date for the SAT and by individual test for SAT Subject Tests. When using free registration score sends, you must send the scores for all the tests you have just registered for (SAT or SAT Subject Tests).

Hope this helps. :D

Another question:
If I take the SAT in October and use the free test reports, will they send ALL my test scores or just the ones from that day? How about for subject tests?

clinegirl,

The four reports that are included on your registration will also let you take advantage of Score Choice. If you take the SAT in October, it’s up to you whether you send all of your previous scores or not. You do, however, have to send your scores from that day (in this case, your October scores) if you’re using one of the four free reports included on the registration. Same goes for Subject tests, and with Subject tests you can choose by individual Subject test, regardless of the date you took it (unless, again, it’s the scores from that day you took the test, and not previous scores).

If you wanted to wait until after you got your scores from October before you sent them, they would only be available after the deadline to add colleges to your registration at no cost (which is 9 days after the day of the test). You could still use Score Choice to send whichever scores you wanted, but you would have to pay $9.50 to send out the actual report. :(
