I got my scores back today and I got a 780 on Math 2 and a 730 on Physics. Im not too worried about my Math 2 score but my Physics score looks worrisome. Im a senior and the last day to register for SAT is today. Also, Im trying to get into schools like UCSD, Georgia Tech, UCLA, Carnegie, and other good schools (but not too good) with a major in STEM. So should I retake my physics subject test?
Are you good at Biology? I think it is easier to get a high score in the Molecular Biology test if you have taken either Honors or AP Biology. Or does it have to be Physics to coordinate with your major?
nah Im trying to major in computer engineering. Also, I took the AP Physics 1 Exam my junior year and I already have some background in that.
Ok. Yeah, physics would be best. My younger son got accepted to the UCLA engineering school for computer science with just the Math2 and Bio/M, but I don’t know if that would be good enough for your other colleges. My advice is, if you have a couple of study books and several practice tests and have the time and energy to prepare again, go for it. Your score of 730 is around the 64th percentile if things are similar to 2017, so it probably would be good to try again.
