If I’m an international student who applied M&T and Wharton for Penn Regular Decision and I have a 33 ACT, 800 Chemistry and 780 Math Level II, do I need to retake my Math Subject Test again and get an 800 to be truly competitive? My main concern is that especially with M&T the marks need to be top notch.
Getting your ACT up is more important than the SAT Math II. If you REALLY want that 800 go for it, but keep in mind Penn wants you to send all scores so they may frown upon you trying to retake just to increase 20 points.

A 33 is competitive anywhere and at this point, one point wouldn’t have a huge impact on admissions.
Actually, for Highly Competitive Dual Degrees like M&T, a 33 is a bit on the low side. The average SAT scores for those students are usually higher than Penn’s average for single school applicants. In my opinion, I don’t think it would hurt to get it up.
