I’m going to be taking AP US History this upcoming school year, and then I plan on taking the SAT Subject Test for US History. How should I study for the Subject Test? Also, are AP exams different from the SAT subject tests?
The subject test is around 90 multiple choice in an hour. It’s very specific fact-based questions, unlike AP. I took in it May, a couple weeks before the AP exam after reading the Kaplan USH SAT book and the Princeton Review APUSH book. The Kaplan tests are more difficult than the actual test.
I scored an 800/5.
I took APUSH this past year. I read Sparknotes Subject Test review the night before and got a 770.
I didn’t study for the either test but I thought the subject test was a lot harder than the AP Test. I scored a 760/5 if it matters.
