I bombed the subject tests- 660 on lit and 610 on Math II. I have a really strong app otherwise, like a 36 on my Reading ACT 31 math, 32 reading. 32 composite. high gpa, 4.22 weighted. do you guys think that this will really hurt my chances of getting in? like to the point where they'll deny me?

bumpbumpbump

Retake them!

To be harsh, those are pretty bad… They don’t exclude you from being admitted, but they certainly hurt.

i applied early, so i can’t retake them :/

I hope you have incredible ECs. Not to sound rude, but that GPA and that ACT are nothing special at Stanford, in fact, they’re on the low side of average.

Are you sure you can’t retake? I’m applying early to Princeton and they accept Nov. scores

ill double check on that yellowdaisies. but actually saman, their median act is 30-34, so im right in the middle of that. and from what i’ve read, my gpa is pretty good for their school. nothing special at stanford is robotic kids with zero EC’s and perfect scores all around.
