Sat subject Tests at Penn

My application to Penn SEAS is solid (as solid as 13% acceptance rates go :( ) except for two factors: lack of AP physics and my subject test scores. The subject test scores are highly recommended, not required, but in my case embarrassing, at 620 physics and 630 math. Would they throw out my application because of these scores? Or would this only be a minor setback?

Stats for reference:

32 ACT (33 superscore , all tests sent in)
3.97/4.64 GPA
8 AP classes, honors are most of the rest
Eagle Scout with bronze palm and a troop leader
Honors choir for two years, but choir for all four years of high school
Improvisation club
National honors society member
Essays detailed and some of the best I've written; one on my eagle service project, the other an in depth look at what I would take advantage of at Penn
Two letters of recommendation from teachers that I know well, and both are good
EXTRA letter of rec from a penn graduate and close family friend, eagle coach

Thank you!

Subject Tests are only needed if you’re submitting the SAT, which you’re not, so I wouldn’t submit them, even though they’re recommended. They’ll only hurt your chances.

Unfortunately, I already sent them- they requires complete testing history and I didn’t want to take any chances.

Unfortunately, I think they’d be quite a deterrent for admissions officers, especially since engineering will be your focus…
