I want to apply ED1 to NYU as that is my #1 school, however, I will be taking the SAT I in October and the subject tests in November. I checked NYU's profile on CollegeBoard's website and they said that January 1st is the deadline to hand in the scores. I just want to double check to make sure that information is valid. So, is it?

I was also thinking about emailing them and asking them. Is that a little too much?

Thanks for the help!

You are good to go with your SAT schedule for ED2. The result are usually out 3 weeks from the date of SAT Test. And there is option to rush scores in SAT application format. Also the college waits or rather gives you opportunity to submit whatever is missing in your application.

I know I’m on track for ED2 but if I can I want to apply ED1.

So NYU will basically just hold my file until I give them my subject test scores or will they contact me telling me that I’m missing something? I don’t want them to reject my application because I’m missing stuff. I know I’m missing stuff.

Sorry I got mixed up with ED 1 and ED 2. But I am speaking from my Ds experience that they do ask for missing pieces and then go from there, more so, if your application is worth their consideration even when it is incomplete, ie. the grades, the ECs, course rigor, the essays, the LORs…
