So I am a Science minded guy, and am hopefully going to be applying to top schools for engineering but, i just got my SAT Chemistry score. 720. 63% percentile. Not good. I was 30 days removed from doing anything in my Chemistry class and I didn't really study for it. I hear engineering schools want SAT Subject tests that are math and science related, so If I end up getting a good score in Physics and Math Level 2, would i be good? I don't have to submit my Chemistry score to colleges, right? I hear all these people taking 6 SAT2s but colleges only require 2, so is it okay if I only take two more? How Important are SAT2s anyway?

It certainly doesn’t hurt to submit your SAT II scores, even if they’re “only” in the 63rd percentile. Plus, I don’t think colleges place too much emphasis on these scores. Your GPA, SAT I / ACT, and essays will matter more than SAT IIs.

they aren’t the first things most colleges look at
