I registered for two SAT II subject tests for October but now I want to take three. How do I add the third subject???? HELP! I need to do this before the deadline.

Also, is it true you can actually change what subject you want to take in the exam center itself?

You don't need to do anything. At the test they give you a thick booklet with tests for every subject. You can take any subjects you want, up to three total, regardless of what you indicated when you registered. But I think you will get charged a bit more than you paid already.

On test day, you'll definitely want to tell your testing proctors as soon as possible (before any testing begins) that you want to add an SAT II. Some testing centers may have logistical difficulties that could get in the way.

Absolutely. All the tests come in one big booklet and you fill out bubbles corresponding to which test you want to do.

No you cannot. You must decide before you look at the test material. There is a fee for taking additional tests (I think around $8/test, but check this on the collegeboard website) if you take more than you originally paid for. Please note that taking 3 is VERY exhausting. My kid signed up for 3, but ended up taking just 2 at one time because she was too fatigued to focus on the 3rd subject, she felt.

So you can decide right before the test itself that you want to take three tests. After you take two of the tests and don't feel like taking the third, can you leave it? Or must you take the number of tests that you decided to take in the beginning?

When you go to the test center, they give you a booklet with all the test. You can take as many as you want (up to 3) and leave after 1, 2 or all 3 hours. Once you start a test, however, you cannot leave until the end of that 1 hour time slot. If you take less than you sign up for, you won't get a refund, but if you take more, CB will send you a bill for the extra test(s).
