SAT subject tests in different areas

Hello guys,

Can anyone tell me if SAT subject tests in math lvl 1 and level 2 can satisfy any university's or college's requirements?
I have not exceptional, but maybe average scores in maths, but my history test had just destroyed my application. To let you know, I am an international, and I am sure I made a mistake, when I decided to take US history subject test. Is there any chance schools to consider math subject test scores and NOT those in US history?

Any commenets will be appreciated. What should I do? Should I let schools know that I haven't taken any courses in US history at my high-school?

I think colleges will understand why you didn’t do as well in the US History test, seeing as you’re an international applicant.

But from what I’ve seen/heard, colleges generally like SAT IIs in different subjects as opposed to two mathematics scores.

Thank you Moonpie1. I hope that colleges will understand that I am an international, having taken no courses in US History. However, do I need to notify them this fact or they will just consider this circumstance after seeing me as an international applicant?
630 score in us history is just horrible, right?

Lol, why did you take US History?

Anyway, yeah, you should let the colleges know just to clarify, even though they’ll probably be able to deduce from your score that you weren’t taught US History.

630 isn’t horrible, its just below average for the top American colleges.

thank you Moonpie1 for your response. Yeah, I hope they will understand that I haven’t taken courses and don’t rely on only this score.

Additional responses will be appreciated. Thanks so much in advance…

I don’t know why I took the exam, but I can’t change anything, because there is no chance to send new scores.

The colleges that require two SAT IIs usually want them in different subjects and thus two math tests won’t meet the requirement. Are you someone who has already applied for college and cannot take more tests? If so you you will need to provide the history test along with the others. You can send any explanation you want. If you are not applying until next year, you still have time to take another test and many of those which require two use the highest two (in different subjects) for admission.

thank you drusba for your response. I have already applied to colleges, which is why I really worry about my test score. How do you think should I contact colleges and tell about the whole story?
