I have a Maths Level 2 score of 790 and a Physics score of 780.
My SAT score is 1540.
Will my Subject Test scores hurt my chances at Ivy League universities? Should I retry for perfect scores in the December session?
A bunch of my friends have perfect scores in the Subject Tests so am I a weaker candidate than them?
The Subject Tests scores are excellent. There is no reason to retake. A college that rejects you for a 780 would not have accepted you with an 800. Colleges of the HYPMA level routinely reject applicants with 800’s and accept some with lower scores. The Subject Tests are one very small part of the package.
Anything above 750 is considered acceptable. There are a lot of 800 scorers on the Math II. Your scores look great. Good luck.
