SAT Subject tests recommended - submit or not?

For schools that don't require but recommend the SAT Subject tests I am wondering whether my son should submit his SAT Subject scores as they are below his SAT scores. His scores are SAT Math - 800, Reading - 740 and SAT subject tests - Math level 1 - 720, Physics 720. Would it matter how competitive the school is? Schools in question: Lehigh, Union, University of Rochester and Syracuse University. He is applying as an engineering major. Thanks in advance.

I’d totally submit those scores.

Those scores are very good for the colleges you mention and thus you should send.

Thanks for the responses. I see I missed one. He is also applying to Bucknell. Same answers - send them?

Yes. Those are fantastic scores for all the schools you mentioned.

^I agree with all above posters. SAT II’s above a 700 are good scores.
