Hi I am considering applying to a couple of Ivy leagues as my reach schools. I have a 1570 and an 800 math 2 and a 740 Biology M. Should I send my biology score? I know a lot of the schools have lessened the requirements for SAT Subject Tests, but should I still send the biology score? Will it hurt my chances at all when applying to the Ivy Leagues? I am also an Asian male.
What major are you planning on applying to?
I plan to apply as an economics major
What I’ve been told is to send SAT scores to top schools if they’re over 750, no question about it.
While I’m not really qualified to give advice on this, I don’t really see a benefit in submitting it. It’s not a bad score at all, but it also doesn’t stand out, and since it doesn’t relate to your major of interest, I don’t think it’ll have an effect on the school’s decision.
I probably wouldn’t, but I think the difference between sending and not sending is nearly non-existent. It won’t make them say “wow, that really improves the application”, nor “yuck, that’s really bad” - it’s a pretty neutral score. On a component of minor importance this year.
