Okay here's my case. I can either take the SAT subject tests with the AP tests in may and take the SAT in june, or I can take my AP tests and SAT in may and Subject tests in June. It seems more logical to me to take my AP tests and subject tests at the same time, but.. anyone have any experiences to say otherwise? Any suggestions and/or experiences would be appreciated. Thanks.

Buuuuuuuuuuump

Take the subject tests in June. Sometimes you won’t be prepared for everything by the first week of May and it may take until the day of the AP exam (which can be mid-May) before you are ready.

Really I don’t think it will matter that much. Maybe think about when you’ll be able to prepare for the SAT reasoning and go from there. The APs are pretty much in between the May and June dates :)

I agree with the “taking SAT II in June” people :D

Most of my teachers say to take it in May so you get double the output for studying a large amount of material. Then again, several of my teachers are putting our final exams right before the AP.

If you take it in June, you may not be motivated enough to continue to study.

However, if you may want to see if the SAT II is offered in May since some, like Latin, are only offered in June.

Bump on this thread. D’s dilemma too. Thanks.

Check out the parents forum. There’s a thread on this same issue. See http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/parents-forum/669246-sat-subject-test-may-june.html
