I’m currently an undergraduate student at the University of Texas at Tyler enrolled in their Coordinated Admissions Program with UT Austin, where I will be attending for my sophomore year in a few months. Does anybody know if it matters when you take the SAT subject tests? I’m considering taking the SAT Subject Test in Physics to try and get a 600 for credit. I would try to CLEP out instead, but UT Austin doesn’t accept CLEP scores for any science courses except for social sciences. I’m asking here because while the SAT is intended for high school students trying to enter college, I still want to test out of the course with knowledge I already have (I missed the AP Exam in high school and never took any subject tests), but if not I’ll just go ahead and take the class.
Thanks in advance for any help!
You’re better off just taking the class.
The SAT II tests are to boost your admissions into college so it’s better off taking the class.
